Sr. Controls Engineer
I am a 36-year-old automation professional from Charleston, SC who currently resides in central North Carolina known as the Piedmont Triad.
I graduated with my BS in Electrical & Comupter Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University in 2010 and began my career in automation in the most unexpected, but fateful way in 2012.
Over the course of my 12-year career, I have had the pleasure of gaining invaluable field experience in having worked for 3 system integration companies that are #2, #5, and #9 respectively on the 2024 SI Giants List published by Control Engineering, a global equipment OEM that is a pioneer in its industry where I operated as the controls department, and currently as a senior-level engineer in manufacturing. It has exposed me to several industries and taken me all over the country and parts of the world, for which I am truly grateful.
In conclusion, I am an experienced automation professional with a passion for project management, engineering leadership, learning, teaching, and collaboration. The field of automation and control is rapidly growing and becoming more integrated into the fabric of global manufacturing and as I look forward to growing with like-minded professionals who are passionate about utilizing the coming advancements to enhance the world and equip the next generation of automation professionals for success.
